My client, currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Technician, are a national and recognised leader in their chosen products award winning and internationally renowned products.

As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of these products this well established company now have a requirement for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Technician (With an Electrical bias) to work on modern state of the art automated production processing equipment and to be a key member of their production maintenance team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for

  • Ensuring that the production area is provided with an immediate repair service in order to rectify any disruption to manufacturing output.
  • Attending to all breakdowns ensuring minimum downtime of production equipment.
  • Ensuring all production led maintenance is carried out effectively and on time.
  • Keeping accurate and upto date records of all changes including equipment drawings, PLC fault finding and repair.
  • Installation and project work on new production processing machinery.
  • Working alongside other engineers to find cost effective solutions for the Automation of manual processes.
  • The development of equipment solutions for part assemblies, checking jigs and establishing a reliable and cost effective supplier base.

Applications are invited from Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers / Technicians who can fault find and repair PLC’s who have worked in a manufacturing environment and have good experience of fault finding on production machinery. Applicants must also be prepared to work shifts.
